We’ll sell it to you. But we’ll tell you the truth.
You all are aware of Creatine Monohydrate. After all, there are hundreds of brands out there. Frankly, there are good brands; for example, EAS, Team XL, AST, etc. and some not so great products.
Since almost all Creatine products have high, 99% plus purity ratings; what makes one brand better than another. We asked our biochemist for a simple answer. Here it is.
“Creatine Monohydrate is made in a laboratory by taking a derivative of acetic acid called sarcosine sodium salt and reacting it with an organic amide called cyanamide. If you use inferior starting materials or don’t allow for complete chemical reactions then minute impurities can result. These impurities can exist in products that are 99.9% (or better) percent pure due to the fact that the molecular weight of the impurities is so small compared to the actual final Creatine Monohydrate molecule.”
There are three known impurities which have been found in generic Creatine Monohydrate. They are Creatinine, Dicyandiamide and Dihydrotriazine.
Creatinine and Dicyandiamide are simple byproducts of creatine production. If Creatinine or Dicyandiamide are ingested by the body they are treated as waste products and are excreted in urine. While it is highly unlikely that either would be harmful to you, why should you ingest a waste product?
Dihydrotriazine, on the other hand, is a real chemical “wild-card” with unknown toxic and pharmacological effects on the body. This substance is widely found in Asian Creatine products due to the fact that most are rushed in production and are a result of non-optimized chemical reactions. As far as we are concerned, you do not want to be ingesting this substance in any quantity.
Currently, as you are probably aware, there is a real Creatine price war going on out there. Most people are buying simply on price…..due to the fact that they are not aware of the whole story. Now you know.
Keeping with our policy of insuring you the best prices in the world we are happy to offer you the lowest prices anywhere on both generic Asian Creatine which is 99.9 plus percent pure (but like virtually all other brands on the market, untested for impurities) and on pure Creatine products that are tested and are impurity free (such as Team XL or AST).
